Open Mic = Open Doors, with Rich Arts Collective and Thabisa Rich
Singer/songwriter, radio host, activist and youth advocate Thabisa, with the Rich Arts Collective, brings you a series of programs, Open Mic = Open Doors (and as funded by the City of New Haven). The Open Mic= Open Doors project supports and encourages young folks to express themselves through arts, while engaging in conversations that matter such as regarding mental health and home insecurities. This June 21 program will showcase an eclectic mix of performers and presenters -- and perhaps with some musical notes by host Thabisa, herself. Also featured on this program are: - Terrence Riggins, Playwright and Actor - Manual Camacho, Youth President at Ice the Beef - Isaac Bloodworth, Artist (whose art fosters love and joy, and community building among black and brown folks).
