Lo Cal Al & Friends

Chicago native Al Blumberg met Junior Wells when he was 13 and that immediately changed his path. Currently from Guilford CT, Al plays keyboards and writes songs for a variety of groups on the Connecticut scene. He was a founding member of The Great Curve, a band that opened for Jefferson Airplane, Procul Harum and Dave Mason. He was also a founding member for Chicago based "Filet of Soul" and currently plays for "Rob Ashely and the Warden" Lo Cal Al has had artwork displayed at Almquist Gallery in Chicago and written poetry appearing in Threshold.
