Musicians & Venue Registration

PERFORMERS: All Instruments • All Genres • All Levels • All Ages

Create your profile by submitting a description of your act, a photo, and any relevant website/social media links. Browse available venues and when you find one you like, submit a request. For additional tips on matching up with venues check out our Tips for Musicians.

VENUES: Storefronts • Outdoor/Indoor Business spaces • Restaurants • Breweries • Concert Halls •Schools • Churches • Parks • Sidewalks • Front Porches • Museums • …and beyond

Create a profile by submitting your location information, a description of the space, and times you are willing to host music. Browse the musician profiles to request a performance. Note: your venue will not show on the map if you do not have a confirmed performance. So, even if it is an open jam session on your front lawn, please enter that as a performance to help others find you.

Not interested in scheduling your own performance? Not a musician?

We have jam sessions and play-along events that welcome any musician interested in participating. Check back soon for more information about these signature events. Subscribe to email updates to make sure you get the details as soon as they’re announced.

PERMITS

The Make Music New Haven will work with the City of New Haven to secure necessary permits for registered Make Music New Haven performers. Permits are required for any musician using public property such as sidewalks and city parks. Performances on private property do not require the same permits, but must abide by noise ordinances already in place. If a musical event happens in one of the Greater New Haven suburbs, please send us an email with your event details and we’ll do our best to secure the appropriate permits.
